Merir-gando Meaning "where gods once walked", Merir-gando is a city recovering from a meteorite that hit the eastern part of the city six years ago. Merir-gando's defensive mechanisms and Chrono forcefields, being some of the most advanced technology in the galaxy, are usually enough to stop meteorites, but the eastern district of the city's defensive measures failed to activate in time. The meteorite struck, wiping out the entire section and leaving nothing but smoldering ruins behind -- the district's forcefield activated just after the meteorite hit, containing the destruction to within that area. The eastern district is still being rebuilt and cleaned out, and there are dozens of memorials dedicated to those who died in the incident all over Merir-gando. The destroyed district is a tragic mar on what would otherwise be an impressive city often considered the center of Finido commerce. Traders and businessmen from all over Drio use Merir-gando as a business outlook, giving the city a unique variety that is hard to find elsewhere. |

Pocalic's Crater One of Finido's most famous craters, Pocalic's Crater is a massive "hole in the ground" whose meteorite was long ago excavated for its Chrono. However, the crater it left behind is more than enough for make a good tourist attraction. The entire area around the crater is completely grey, and there are very few plants that have managed to grow back after the meteorite's impact. Some monsters, apparently attracted to the leftover Chrono residue, can be seen scuffling around in the crater, but they steer clear of Kylians. There are still numerous signs near the crater warning visitors not to feed monsters or attempt to go near them, however. |

Reo Lake Often called the "star path" by locals, Reo Lake is nestled in a southern field of craters and looks rather dull during the day, being surrounded mostly grey and white rocks. However, its name comes from how the lake area appears at night. Tiny gems in the rocks, particularly the ones underwater, light up during the night, making it seem like the area is a starry field. Despite its serene beauty, swimming in the lake is not advised, especially at night -- the water's temperatures can drop to a point where even tiartzards, known for being able to withstand frigid climates, may find themselves uncomfortable. |
