When asked what the most peaceful planet in the galaxy is, most people would say Cabaria, home to the cabarians and the cabarus alphas. Located in Sector II of the galaxy, Cabaria wasn't much for wars even when the Alamo Empire, which it was a part of, from millenniums ago was at its height of power.
Its land is split into two continents: Habou, historically the home of cabarians, and Rackina, the refuge for the cabarus alphas when they fled the planet Beyne over two thousand years ago. Both places are idyllic in their own ways; Habou is touted as a "natural splendor" by tourism companies, and Rackina is the place to go for exciting battles and races between the best of the best. Cabaria citizens (or "cabaris") are stereotypically thought of as laid-back peace-lovers who live in paradise, but even Cabaria has its problems.
Recently, Habou has encountered some monster problems -- there are reports of normally docile monsters suddenly attacking cities. Eyewitness accounts and blurry photos indicate that these monsters are similar to ones native to Habou, but seem to have different features, such as additional limbs, radically different colorations, or overgrown teeth. Researchers are alongside the police force in finding out what these monsters are doing in Habou and just where they came from. No conclusive evidence about what these mutant monsters are or what caused the mutations has been found.
I, Allegro Presto XI, will venture into Habou myself to find out more about these mutants. Until there is more information on the monsters, Kylians are advised to direct any Habou-bound trips into the inland regions, as the hostile monsters appear to be congregating near the coastal areas, especially near Dinfyra.
