1. This is a PG-13 site at most. In other words, this site is not the place for gory bloodbaths of terror or hardcore sex scenes.
2. Respect each other; don't fight.
3. Double posting is largely not allowed in both IC (In Character) or OOC (Out of Character) threads. Please use the edit button if you have something else to say.
4. As usual with role playing forums, no power playing or godmoding.
5. Impersonating other members is not allowed.
6. It is a very good idea to check up on the rules once in a while to make sure you are up to date in both announcements and rules.
7. Activity checks can and will happen. If you know in advance that you're going to be gone for some time, post an absence thread in the designated board or let someone know so they can post a thread for you. If you have an absence thread, you are exempt from activity checks, and your account will not be deleted.
8. Post literately; keep everything comprehensible. Nobody likes getting a jumbled mess that makes no sense at all as a response to their previous post. Remember, the more you give someone to work with, the more you get back. At the same time, don't post a novel of a post just to show how much better you are than everyone else. Strike a balance and everybody's happy.
9. No spamming. This includes, but is not limited to, posting the same thing over and over again and posting advertisements outside of the advertisements board.
10. You may have six characters at a time to begin with. If you've proven yourself able to be active on that many characters and still want more, PM Ibur about it to get permission to make more characters.
11. No creating multiple accounts. Keep all your characters on one account.
12. Role playing courtesy dictates that you don't skip over someone else's turn in a thread just because two of the three people in the thread are online while the third isn't and you really, really want to finish the thread. Take turns.
13. Fuzzy time exists. This means your character can be in multiple threads at once, and then you figure out which one happened first, timeline/chronology wise. These threads don't intersect until they end, though. This means if your character buys a spell in one thread while he's fighting a monster in another thread, your character can't suddenly have that spell in the monster thread. Keep track of your character's items and such in each thread if you intend to use fuzzy time.
14. Just because it's not listed in the rules as totally illegal doesn't mean you're allowed do it. Don't go looking for loopholes to justify whatever you're doing. If someone tells you to quit it, then stop.
15. Go extreme. Have fun completely.
