Whispering Rock Beach

So-named for its partly-hollow rocks that make a melodious sound when the wind blows through tiny holes in their surface, Whispering Rock Beach is a particularly popular surfing area. Its waves can even hit over a hundred feet, but these titanic waves are not too common. Special equipment to regulate body temperature is practically a requirement for surfing or swimming here, as even if the beach sand is hot to the touch, the water can still be incredibly cold. Such equipment can be rented from one of the many seaside stores nearby, and the equipment is small enough not to be a bother to its wearer.
