	The Forgin Lands A rocky area where not even the widespread plains grass of Mantora can take root and grow, the Forgin Lands are often seen as uninhabitable. Rain rarely falls, and when it does, it floods the entire area in a series of rapid flash floods. However, nestled in the highest peaks of the Forgin Lands are its namesake monster: tiny, fuzzy almost rodent-like creatures with small wings that allow them to hover. The forgins are revered as sacred by several kannar tribes that live in the area, as the forgins seem defenseless, yet are able to survive in an inhospitable area. 	Gruff Idi's Falls So-named for a notorious criminal that once hid away in the caverns behind the waterfalls, Gruff Idi's Falls have become a popular hang-out spot for people in nearby towns and cities due to how easy it is to reach and how shallow the river the waterfalls flow into is. Naturally, its popularity means that there are beer bottles laying about and colorful graffiti sprayed everywhere, from initials painted onto rocks to vaguely threatening messages like "WE'RE WATCHING YOU". As this area was once a holy, sacred location for some local kannar tribes, the falls' current state is still a point of contention between the tribes and their "modern" neighbors.	0	0	No posts have been made on this board.
	Newport One of the few proper cities on Mantora, Newport is a lively, bustling place on the eastern coast. As all of the buildings rarely exceed two stories high, many people passing through the city may not even recognize Newport as a proper city. Mantora

As the traditional home of the kannar race, which has mostly resisted letting go of their roots and modernizing their societies, Mantora is surprisingly behind the rest of the galaxy in terms of technology -- for the most part, that is. Some people have set up decidedly modern homes on Mantora for a variety of reasons, creating towns and cities right alongside the ancestral homeland to the kannar tribes. The rolling plains and expansive forests are a sight to behold, and though it is difficult to set up permanent residence on Mantora, it is a popular spot for filming movies.
