Mt. Ridonogo Though it's an active volcano, Mt. Ridonogo receives a huge amount of tourism due to how it "warns" of a potential eruption. Green sparks will emit from the volcano's peak when it's about to erupt, giving anyone in the area ample time to get away while simultaneously giving them a good show. It actually erupts rather frequently; smoke is often rising out of the mountain, and the area around it is utterly decimated. People are explicitly not allowed to go on the hiking trails or within fifty miles of the volcano for two months following an eruption. During this time, park rangers clean up the ash in the area and make sure Mt. Ridonogo isn't going to erupt again. |

Whispering Rock Beach So-named for its partly-hollow rocks that make a melodious sound when the wind blows through tiny holes in their surface, Whispering Rock Beach is a particularly popular surfing area. Its waves can even hit over a hundred feet, but these titanic waves are not too common. Special equipment to regulate body temperature is practically a requirement for surfing or swimming here, as even if the beach sand is hot to the touch, the water can still be incredibly cold. Such equipment can be rented from one of the many seaside stores nearby, and the equipment is small enough not to be a bother to its wearer. |
